QConnect QC samples have been designed to react at an appropriate level and validated to match assays commonly used for infectious disease serology and nucleic acid testing. QConnect QC samples are registered IVDs, manufactured in ISO 13485 facilities and, where applicable, standardised against the WHO international standards. NRL works with a number of international partners for the manufacture of QCs under the QConnect Concept.

QConnect QC samples are colour-coded, ready-to-use and barcoded to ensure traceability. Where possible a single batch of each QConnect QC sample is globally available, allowing all QConnect participants using the same assay to compare their QC results.
